Conference III Championship Belt Tale of the Tape: Dallas at St. Louis, 10 March 2014

by J.R.

How many times will St. Louis defend the Conference III Championship Belt? Tonight, when Dallas visits, the Blues will put up the strap for the fourth time in six days, the latest in a 70-plus day run with the belt, a title reign of Theszian proportions.

Can the Stars end the Blues’ stranglehold?

First of all, thoughts and prayers to Rich Peverley, who has played for three different Conference III franchises.

Dallas is still looking for its first title, having last had a chance back in December at the beginning of this current St. Louis reign.

No matter the winner, the Belt will be back on the line this weekend. If St. Louis retains, they’ll take the Belt to Nashville Saturday for the umpteenth title match between the Blues and Preds. If the Stars wrest it away, the Stars will put it up Sunday against Winnipeg.
