Minnesota’s wacky early season schedule, light on Conference III games, have helped the Wild keep the strap for the first month-plus of the season after winning it off Colorado in the season-opener.

If Minnesota retains for the second time in two days, they’ll defend against Dallas (surprise) on Black Friday, November 28. It would be the third Dallas-Minnesota belt match in November.

If Winnipeg wrests it away, the Jets will put it on the line next Sunday against St. Louis.
