Yes, we ripped this off from TRH’s Pacific War Room; no, we don’t care. And since we ripped it off, we’ll follow their lead and go in standings order.

IIIiteracy: 17 March 2013

by J.R.

Today in Conference III action through the geniuses at SportsYapper:

Ottawa 4, Winnipeg 1 : The Jets did not acquit themselves well, giving up a pair of goals to skating typographical error Joseph Silfverburg. Apparently, the Internet didn’t work in Canada as there were no hot yapps on the SportsYapper from fans of either team. Maybe that’s because everyone was trying to figure out who Blake Wheeler is.

Edmonton 3, Nashville 2: The difference here was a shorty from offensive powerhouse Lennart Petrell, who benefited when Sergei Kostitsyn skated off defending a 2-on-2. Anyway. Nashville’s losing streak and streak of scoring meaningless goals at the end of games continued. Not everyone thinks that’s exciting.
